Alex Karp says enterprises are paying AI labs for tokens and handing over their data

In his latest CNBC appearance, Palantir CEO Alex Karp repeated his case against frontier AI labs: companies are spending heavily on models while getting far less measurable value than promised, and are handing over proprietary data, internal knowledge and competitive intelligence in the process. He said businesses "are paying for tokens that create no value" and that executives are privately far angrier than they admit in public. Palantir sells the competing pitch, your data stays yours, so the claims come from an interested party.
