Dyson's $499 AI toothbrush has a camera that watches your teeth
Dyson's first toothbrush, the CameraJet, opened for preorder September 1, 2026 at $499. A 100,000-pixel macro camera scans at 28 images per second, and a machine learning system trained on about 470,000 dental images and running on 16 million lines of code finds gaps between teeth in real time, firing a precision burst of mouth rinse at each within about 100 milliseconds. Dyson says the device took six years, 661 engineers and 38 patents, and removes up to 69 percent more plaque in hard-to-reach areas in company lab testing. It comes in Ceramic Ultra Blue and Ceramic Pink.
