Andrew Garfield plays Sam Altman in the first Artificial trailer
NEON released the first teaser for Artificial, Luca Guadagnino's film about the November 2023 OpenAI crisis in which the board fired Sam Altman and rehired him days later. Andrew Garfield plays Altman, with Yura Borisov as Ilya Sutskever, plus Mark Rylance, Monica Barbaro and Jason Schwartzman. The film premieres at the New York Film Festival on October 5 and opens in select theaters on Christmas Day before a wide January release.
